Bathroom Bliss: A Before and After

In a small bathroom one must resort to simplicity.  So for this bathroom transformation, everything went out!  It's really important to start with a clean slate.  Toss what's unnecessary and organize what's needed for a refreshing result.

And Bliss...

Baskets help with storage.  I keep my make-up, nail polish, hair straightener, brushes, and practically everything else (all in separate pouches) that I use on a daily basis in the wicker basic below the sink.  I may just spray paint that sucker. What do you think yellow?  Too much?  Maybe.

A little aromatherapy lotion?  Yes, please (the sleepy kind)!

An added cabinet is nice for all the "extras."  Rubbing alcohol, hairspray, that extra bottle of shampoo... you name it!  It's always nice to have an additional place to store goodies.  Also, shout out to mom for the nice Ralph Lauren towels.  I like!

And if that's not enough, some behind the door storage is just the trick.  I love the pop of color and would eventually like to add more of it in the bathroom.  This make-up/ accessory / travel bag is perfect for soaps, sponges, brushes, and all the extras.

Best feature in the bathroom: the walls.  Remember that can of $3.99 paint?  I think I put it to some fine use.

  1. Your bathroom gives me hope! We've been working on ours this past weekend and ripped up everything down to the 2x4s. I can't wait to get ours looking normal again. Great job Jessica! I love the paint color.

  6. I ADORE your new wall color - a cool and calming blue-gray. This is what I was going for in my bathroom, but it didn't quite work out that way! Thanks for sharing :)

  7. Thanks Amanda! We got lucky with this one!! It was returned paint from our local hardware store. However, Behr has a color called Pensive Sky that I think you would like. Just go here:
