Calligraphy is My Friend

I can't stop thinking about calligraphy ever since...

my little orange package arrived at my door step.

My handwriting is absolutely horrid!!  Just ask my older sister, Rachel.  She took pride in being able to forge my mother's beautiful signature on homework assignments, but that's another story.

Two years ago my mother gave us a set of calligraphy pens in our Christmas stocking, and it is past time to put them into some good use.

However, it does require some practice at first...

...as well as patience.

Once you get use to making basic strokes, it's really quite easy, and not too mention it does wonders for us sloppy hand writers.  Best of all, I found some free fonts to mimic at dafont.com. My favorite is The King and Queen script.  However it looks a little too advance for me right now.  Maybe I'll just stick to English script.

If you are too stubborn to learn on your own, but insist on having beautifully addressed envelopes... don't you fret.  Paperfinger will do all your work for you, for a small fee of course.  Beautiful work none-the-less.  Just click the picture below to see how it works.
